Kristin & Brian
We met in 2013 at the gym where Brian was working. Kristin hired him as her personal trainer and within a year of meeting we were engaged. 8 months later we were married at Kristin's childhood home where her parents have lived for over 30 years. We knew from the start that we were meant to be together. We share a love for each other that neither of us expected to find. We would love to share that love with a child.
Kristin – Nicknamed “KiKi” by my nieces. I would describe myself as strong, caring and passionate. My parents taught me to be an individual with values and morals. I was raised catholic and faith continues to be a large part of my family’s life. I truly believe that I am meant to be a mother and will offer a child unconditional love and acceptance to be his or her own self. A child will grow up feeling loved by so many who are ready to welcome a child into our family. My parents adopted my brother 37 years ago so I was raised with a personal understanding of the true meaning of family.
Brian- I came from a non-traditional lifestyle. I was raised by an extended family that has continued to grow every year. I have always desired stability, consistency, and tradition because those were things that I didn’t have. My best friend’s family took me into their home and provided me with the traditions and values that I have now. After high school I joined the U.S. Army where I served twelve months in Afghanistan. Being away from the people I love made me appreciate them even more. I have a love for people as individuals. I pride myself on being able to see the good in everyone. I want to pass that on to my children and give a child the chance to have the consistency and stability that I searched for my whole life. As a father I want to be the one to guide my child while encouraging their uniqueness and individuality. Everyone deserves the chance to make mistakes and find who they are. I want to be a father that my child can look up to and count on to always be there
Kristin comes from a very large extended family who we are very close with. We share vacations, holidays, family reunions and quick weekend trips together. Birthdays are big in our family and we always celebrate with gatherings, cake, candles and ice cream.
We share a love of fitness, traveling and movies. We are best friends so every activity is an adventure. We have vacationed in the Cayman Islands, Myrtle Beach, Florida (Orlando, Disney World) and Dallas (to see family). Our family takes an annual trip to the Adirondacks in the summer. We have many more trips planned to continue our adventures!
Kristin's sister has three daughters who you will seein the picture section of our profile. They mean the world to us! These three sweet girls have a way of making every moment special. Even the most simple event can be extraordinary when they are around. We vacation with them at least twice a year and attend their activities (hockey, soccer, dance, chorus, piano recitals, graduations). Our family gets together every Sunday evening for “family dinner” at Kristin's parents house to catch up on the week.
